Copenhagen - Denmark #2

After saying farewell to Karen we jumped on the hop in hop off bus to head into Copenhagen.
No one came to collect our fare, so we saved €28 each..win win!
We got off the bus at a different stop today, and had a wonderful walk through the City, and visited the magnificent Copenhagen City Hall. MASSIVE!
Next stop Andersen's Bakery once more for a warm up, and some good free wifi. I called Rebecca to check up on news from the family, while I was on the phone a huge ruckus broke out right behind us. I didn't know which way to run. It seems a vagrant came to use the toilets and trashed them. Long story short. Couldn't get out of there quick enough! Went to get cash to pay for our transfer to the Airport then time for start of our Pub Crawl. First stop, The Londoner Pub was closed, good start ..... Then the Rock Bar Royal ..  I needed a loo stop, and most charge for the privilege, me in my ultimate wisdom decided it was better to go to the pub than spend one Euro in a public dunny...hahahahaha, it was an expensive pee, I have to say!  Wazza  had a local beer, he left half,  the look on his face was priceless!! I enjoyed a nice Sav Blanc, and I let Rebecca know we were safe and sound after the excitement at the bakery.
We saw a giant Lego man in the heart of LegoCountry!
Pub # 3 The Scottish Pub was also closed, not looking too flash for this pub crawl.
The walk around the old streets was fascinating, but the risk to our lives from bike riders was a different story... Crazy crazy!
We were then intent (well some of us were) on finding the Australia Pub, for yes, you guessed it, a VB! We got directions from Google, and almost everyone else in Copenhagen, and still NEVER found it!
BUT.. We had a stop at the Hard Rock Cafe, Megan looked after us ... She also gave us directions to this flippin Aussie pub!
Alas, the Dubliner jumped out, and who can go past a good Irish Pub in a foreign country?? Not us!
Just a little off the track here, we have been to several countries, battled language barriers, and spent money in $USD, EURO, GBP£ CNY, DKK, SEK.. Mostly I have no idea what coin or note is which, I trust all I have met have been honest!!
Back to the pub crawl...
We had a delicious Irish Stew for lunch at the Dubliner.... Then after yet ANOTHER set of directeions we landed upon the Southern Cross Pub, out the front a sign displaying VB, etc, inside a young girl setting up the bar, I knocked on the window and discovered they didn't open for over half an hour... Cutting it too fine to return to the ship in a taxi, given the peak hour traffic. Our driver was a great man, an excellent driver, and had us back on the wharf in plenty of time for sail away. My poor husband was shattered!
Another note ..... The ship is almost out of Smirnoff Vodka. What next for him??
