Today's news..Wednesday May 6

As we continue our journey across the Atlantic Ocean, i am still  blown away by the amazing weather, sure the wind is chilly, but the sun behind the glass is just fabulous.
I had a slow start today,
last night was a "meet and greet" of everyone on the flippin ship for me..  Yes we all know what I am like.. Give me a bubbles, and I am the new bestie! Even if you are German!!
We went to Shazza and Paul's favourite bar for a morning bevy or 3, we really did have the most wonderful relaxing morning, much and all as I tried to do my laps, the sea was too rough... Hehehehehe yeah sure!
BBQ lunch with a fellow cruiser born and bred on Staten Island, NYC and what a legend she is. She is 79.. ALWAYS lived in New York .. I really want to chat some more with her. Makes me want to go back again...What the??
Not much else to report.. Trivia was a non event.. Karen and I went to the talent show... Not a PATCH on the RADIANCE RASCALS.... not even close! Wazza had a nap then went to a car presentation about cars... Yeah fair dinkum, but mostly Packard cars. He enjoyed that, then after immigration we had pre dinner drinks. As you do!
Dinner was in Versailles ..and it was delicious ...
The evening show was great, then the White party to round off a super day.
A lovely surprise was a plate of chocolates and strawberries in our cabin as a thank you for our praise.. No worries NCL .. you know how to shine, that's for sure.
A special brunch tomorrow for us Aussies, will let you know how that goes.
Today as I was wandering around, I saw one of my new friends.. I said g'day, and all of a sudden it was a chorus of... " it's KREES".. I just laugh out so loud Marilyn Elisha!
Times of reflection too, I miss sharing this with mum, she devoured every single word, photo, message, she lived for the stories of our travels as no one else in our lives will. Many many times I think about sharing something I have seen with mum. It brings tears to my eyes and a huge ache in my heart. I would swap anything to have her back ... Anything at all.
I know that won't and can't happen, so she will travel with me on every journey, and will keep me safe. She would have been chuffed to know about the new baby Princess, mum was a big fan of the Royals.
Time for sleep now.. It's half past yesterday... Or tomorrow or who gives a rats!

Hoo roo for now xx
