We had a slot pull with Marian's group at 11 am, we did very poorly. We put our "losings" into a machine and Karen Warren and I played for quite a while before we collected our bounty! ($12 each).
I have a funny story to relate, well there are lots really, but this one take the cake, Karen was not feeling too flash after a busy Port day so decided to have room service dinner (now $7.95 btw), being a good tidy camper she put her tray on the floor in the corridor outside her room, naturally in her jammies... Yep you know what's coming, click the door to her cabin shuts, no key, and no glasses to see the numbers on the phone in the hall. She had to stand a wait for a Good Samaritan to come by and help her use the phone to call guest services.. They arrived after half an hour!. I said why didn't you call me? Cheeky bugger said 'cos I know you two would be out at a bar some place!!
Not much other news to report today, the usual banter, and saying farewell to our new friends, before a night out on the high seas.
